Ezra Lingeveldt has a performance diploma in jazz that he obtained at the University of Cape Town. His Genres includes Jazz, Pop, Reggae, R&B, Blues, Rock. He has been working in Cape Town as a musician full time. In Cape Town his played at venues, Meerendal wine estate, Grandwest casino, Ferrymans bar and Restaurant waterfront, Arabella Sheraton hotel, Galileo open air cinema’s, Bloemedal Wine estate, The 41 restaurant – Camps Bay, Root44 Market, The Lawn Restaurant – Camps Bay, The Twelve Apostles Hotel
He has also Worked abroad in the Middle East for 10 years at 7 star and 5 Hotels, Emirates Palace (Uae)Intercontinental Hotel, Oryx Rotana( Qatar), J A Hotel, Pullman Hotel ( Dubai). He is also a recording artist with BMG and was previously SA Idols 5th runner up and has won SAMA award for the theme song for Bog Brother.
